We celebrate Black History Month in February in the United States and in other countries to recognize and pay tribute to the contributions, achievements, and experiences of African Americans throughout history. By shining a light on these Black beauty founders, we can raise awareness of and educate people about the often-overlooked and underrepresented history of black people, promote diversity and cultural understanding, and celebrate the contributions and accomplishments of black individuals. And most importantly, recognize the ongoing work towards equality and social justice in the beauty community.Â
