Decongesting – Balancing – Nourishing
Aim for flawless skin with this Rhassoul Detox Mask, a deep cleaning skincare product that purifies and tightens pores. Your face is detoxified as the brown clay draws out impurities and restores the face’s natural minerals. It will give your skin an instant lift, exfoliate the skin, and will even remove stubborn makeup. Rhassoul Clay is also traditionally used as a shampoo and has excellent conditioning properties, superb for removing dirt and grease.
This detox mask helps to eliminate excess shine, absorbing oils and other impurities that can clog pores, Rhassoul clay has both skin calming and oil absorbing properties, making it useful, both for those with sensitive skin, as well as oily and/or acne prone skin.
Rhassoul clay mask derives from Rhassoul clay found naturally in The Atlas Mountains in Morocco. It is rich in minerals that gently lift away excess oil without drying the skin, and added Certified Organic Argan oil to to control oil and sebum production. This detox mask is also enriched with Certified Organic Neroli Oil which is added for its soothing, anti-inflammatory and naturally antibacterial properties and helping to lock in precious moisture.
The negatively charged clay particles draw out positively charged impurities, unclogging pores in the skin and promoting circulation and at the same time depositing the beneficial minerals. The clay particles remove dead skin cells and tighten the pores. Protects against free radical damage that may lead to wrinkles and protect against inflammation caused by allergies and acne.
On the Face
Gently apply the paste to face and wait for approximately 10 minutes before rinsing off with warm water. You do not have to wait until it is completely dry.
It is commonly thought to leave a clay mask on your face until it is completely dry for the full effects, however it is better to remove the mask before then to prevent the dehydration of the skin. Your skin will still absorb all the valuable nutrients and benefits.
The best way to decide if it is time to remove the mask is to do a simple touch test, when you start to see the clay lightening in colour, but it still feels slightly sticky to the touch, it is time to rinse it off.
If you have a stubborn pimple, you could use your Rhassoul paste detox mask as a spot treatment and leave it on overnight.
Rhassoul clay deep cleanses the hair and scalp, removing excess grease, treating split ends and improving blood circulation.
Rub the Rhassoul paste gently into your scalp and hair, leave for 10 minutes and then rinse off and shampoo after with your favourite shampoo.
How often should you use a Rhassoul face mask?
In general, using a Rhassoul paste mask 1 or 2 times a week is best for most skin types. For more oily skin it can be used up to 3 times a week. For dry, sensitive skin start by using the mask every 10 to 14 days and work up to weekly as long as the skin does not get irritated.
The PÜRE Collection is an award-winning Certified Organic luxury skincare brand with 100% recyclable packaging from London, UK. Since inception, they have drawn inspiration from nature to formulate a botanical line so clean, natural, pure and organic, that its simplicity will evolve you over time to give you transformative results for the look and feel your skin deserves.
The brand believes so much in transparency that they voluntarily register their products with the Food and Drug Administration in the USA. The PÜRE Collection is also Certified by Ecocert.
The Pure Collection directly sources their Argan oil is from a small independent known producer near Agadir, Morocco. It is operated by a cooperative of local Berber women with good working conditions.
The method of harvesting, extraction, and storage is extremely important, the Argan fruit must be gathered from the ground, not the tree, the nuts that have not yet fallen, are not sufficiently ripe. This helps to protect the tree making it sustainable. Once harvested, the nuts are dried for several days in the hot Moroccan sun before de-pulping and cracking by hand.
It is important to recognize that it is most often the women who do the hard work of hulling and shelling the fruit by hand. Once the fruit is prepared, it is then extracted by machine, and filtered several times. Only first Pressed oil is used. The PURE Collection works with only one cooperative that pays their women producers a fair wage.
