For Skin That Misses Vacation: A few drops soften dry skin and leave face and body looking warm, glowy, and suspiciously well-rested, like you spent two weeks somewhere tropical with absolutely no email access.

Your Hair’s Rainforest Era: Dry ends, dullness, dramatic frizz? Smooth a little buriti oil through your lengths for softer, glossier hair that looks wildly unbothered.

For Scalp Situations: Massage a few drops into a dry scalp when it feels tight or generally offended by life.

The Glow-Getter: Naturally rich in beta-carotene, this Amazonian overachiever gives skin the kind of radiant glow usually associated with yacht people and good lighting.

Small Places, Big Difference: Give dry cuticles, rough elbows, and neglected heels a little of the same attention you give your face.

Deep in the tropical wetlands of the Peruvian Amazon grows aguaje, better known as buriti, a glowing reddish-orange fruit harvested by Indigenous communities who have lived alongside these palms for generations.

Sometimes called the “Tree of Life,” the buriti palm provides far more than fruit. Amazonian communities use its leaves for roofing and its fibers for weaving, making it an essential part of everyday life.
